Swimming superstar Michael Phelps is set to relocate to Tempe, Arizona, to maintain a training regimen with coach Bob Bowman.
Phelps had been living and training in Baltimore, but Bowman has been hired as the men's and women's coach at Arizona State.
"It's going to be different," Phelps told Associated Press as he prepared for a meet in Charlotte this weekend. "I get my Vitamin D year round, which is nice. I get to be tan all year, which is also nice. But I'm somebody who loves changes. If we do the same thing in training month after month, I get sick of it."
Bowman has helped Phelps develop into the most bemedaled athlete in Olympic history. He has earned 22 medals, including 18 gold. He will seek more at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro.
